WACO, Texas – The Baylor community is not free from the wave of rising gas prices.

The rising prices are putting additional financial pressure on students who already worry about the cost of tuition and meal costs.

Furthermore, these costs are unavoidable for students who commute to campus and part-time jobs. The price surge adds a new challenge to already potentially tight budgets.

Some students have begun combining trips with other students to fight back against gas costs, carpooling to get meals and groceries, among other necessities.
