WACO, TEXAS — At Baylor University, intramural sports offer students more than just a chance to play: they’re a way to build community and engage in healthy competition.

With over 15 sports available throughout the year, more than 2,000 students participate each semester.

One of the fastest-growing sports offered is pickleball. This semester’s co-ed pickleball tournament attracted over 300 students, all representing different clubs and organizations. The sport of pickleball is growing so rapidly that in the spring of 2025, Baylor unveiled 12 new courts right in the heart of campus.

For students looking to get active, meet friends, and have fun, Baylor’s intramurals offer something for everyone.
